We are pleased to welcome you to the 20th conference in “Density Functional Theory and its applications” (DFT 2024).

The 20th international conference of Density Functional Theory and its applications will be back in Paris in August 2024, starting from August 25. It follows the previous editions held in Paris (1995), Vienna (1997), Rome (1999), Madrid (2001), Brussels (2003), Geneva (2005), Amsterdam (2007), Lyon (2009), Athens (2011), Durham (2013), Debrecen (2015), Tällberg (2017), Alicante (2019) and Bruxelles (2022).

 

World renowned scientists will present their latest contributions in 10 plenary and 18 invited talks. We invite you to participate to this event and take the opportunity to present your work at this key conference for the DFT community as one of the 20 oral presentations or as a poster in one of the two scheduled poster sessions. 

The conference will cover all aspects of Density Functional Theory (DFT) and the contributions will be organized around the following main topics : 

 

• Methodological Developments in DFT 

• Conceptual DFT 

• Time-dependent approaches in DFT 

• DFT and reactivity 

• DFT and condensed phases
